Just back from school to professional life. Living in LA, want to get back to where I left off in life before grad school. That includes meeting new people too. So here I go, talk about myself.

My life is quite balanced in almost every possible sense. My work, family, friends, leisure activities and anything else have their own importance and priority to me and none will overtake another. At times you'll see me buried in numbers, crunching them in my head.. Other times you'll see me doing the clumsiest things trying to figure skate..

I have always believed that, besides reading a lot, meeting new people and getting to know new cultures are the best ways to enhance one's life experience. That's pretty much the reason why I'm here.. Simply put, getting to know new people. Having said that, no matter how many people I get to know, I'm very selective about who to spare some place and time in my life.. That means I have very limited number of friends around me. I'm more concerned about the quality of the relationships as opposed to quantity. I hope to add a few more people to my circle here.

I'm an independent person and value other people's independence as well. I'll never tell you what you should (not) do. I have full respect for everyone's preferences and don't judge people.. Just look to see if we're a good fit..

Reading is essential for me. I have been reading more nonfiction lately. Although I listen to every kind of music, my favorites would be classical, jazz, electronic and rock depending on my mood. Listening to music, to me, is an activity by itself. I'm a movies fan. Not much of a Hollywood follower.. I love independent movies.. European movies are my favorite, followed by Asian and Latin American ones..

My interest in nature goes along with my love for traveling. I love to be in nature.. I could go on hikes, camping, skiing. Having said that, my love for nature sports such as skiing, scuba diving and swimming are important things to mention about myself. I always have some plans but have hard time finding good company.. Sometimes I do it alone..

My other passions are cooking, photography and driving.. I like to cook, try different recipes.. I love cooking for the people I love and getting their feedback.. I can sit at the table and enjoy watching them eat what I cooked.. As well as cooking I am a fan of good food.. I'm always up for trying new dishes..

I am an amateur photographer as well. I used to have my own dark room and development equipment before moving to LA. Since coming to LA, I shoot in digital, but don't use Photoshop.. I'll love to take pictures in trips, so you might have to wait for me at times..

Finally, driving.. I love cars and motorcycles.. I'll never get tired of driving.

Last but not the least, I'm a bit quite and a shy person at times. Especially at the beginning. I might have hard time meeting new people. Don't let that deceive you.. Once I get used to, I'll open up..

Although I don't want to describe who I'm looking for, allow me to say that you should be a positive, cheerful person who loves to smile, rather than complaining about school, work, family or your city.. Also, know the value of sharing.. Life that is..

There is no hurry for anything.. Right time for everything will come at some point.. First date will be a good opportunity to understand how much each of us would value a potential relationship with the other.
