Hello, my name is mark. I am a young man living in manhattan and am just trying to meet some new people. I am a chef by trade, so therefore I love everything that has to do with food or the hospitality industry. I am currently the executive sous chef for one of the largest private golf clubs in new jersey. Although I love to cook food, I also really enjoy eating out. Not only to go out, but because i like to keep current with what food trends are going on, and i am always looking for new ideas.

Fishing is probably my favorite hobby outside of going to dinner, I have been doing it since i was born, something about being on the water is really relaxing, and ironically i really like fishing in the rain. I also really enjoy watching and playing football, nothing is better for me than sitting down on a sunday and watching the games all day with a few beers. Also, i have season giants tickets, even though im a 49er fan haha. I also am a pretty big baseball fan with the yankees being my favorite team. I also really like to snowboard, i grew up on a mountain in new jersey and used to go everyday after highschool, i didnt get to go much last year because i was opening a restaurant, but this year i have february off and plan on taking full advantage of it.

As for my goals and aspirations, i would really like to work for myself one day. In what capacity im not sure, whether it be a restaurant, deli, or catering buisness, i would love to own my own establishment; so i could be free to make it as good as i want it to be.

I guess i dont have much that makes me unique, well once i went on a food and wine tour in california for a month wich was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Oh, and for a while i had really long hair, but not anymore. I think im a really perceptive guy also who has a good nose for sniffing out bullshit.

As for music first and formost i am a huge red hot chili peppers fan, and i have been for a very long time. I am more so into there early stuff, because i also like early 90's hip hop but some other bands i like are janes addiction, nine inch nails,the killers, and vampire weekend.. oh and lets not forget akon.

Hmm like i said i really enjoy going out to dinnner, but for a first date i guess id like to keep it more casual, either going to get coffee or a drink. Although i guess a cool thing to do would be go to a sporting event.. yea that sounds like fun
