Just moved to the Augusta area a few weeks ago for a new job at SRS. Don't know too many people here yet, and wanting to meet new people hang out with.

Me:
From the south but do not fit the southern "married at 20, have kids, throw BBQs, go to church" mold that seems to dominate the south.

A lot going on career wise right now, so I am not necessarily looking for a new relationship, but do not rule any out if a friendship started heading that way. I want to meet people who can hold a decent conversation, love food, off beat music/movies, culture, the strange and unique, etc as much as I do.

Likes:
Cooking and eating, bottom shelf music and movies, theatre, street performers, coffee, laughing, laughing at myself, anything new.

Dislikes:
People who think their world view is the only world view, being stuck in a routine, flakes, those orange marshmallow nasty candies.

Hmmm. Don't really know much about what there is to do here, but I want to check out downtown and see some of the trendier places. Pizza/microbrews at that pizza joint, followed by finding a coffee house that has some local band playing is perfect.
