I'm a fairly laid back person. I enjoy relaxing on the weekends watching some TV or going on the computer. I'm not a big lover of the outdoors - hiking, surfing, camping, etc. (Looks like a lot of you men out there are.) Many people have said I'm a good listener and I believe I am. People who talk too much about themselves or especially who they know really bore me. I try to be as honest as I can and am looking for the same. Right now my life revolves around my teenage daughter and God. Without a husband, I turn to God for guidance and wisdom in raising her the best I can.
My goal is to be right with God. As for career goals, I think I'm where I want to be. I've been an Educational Assistant for approx. 4 years and really, truly enjoy what I do. I love the children at my school and I think they enjoy me as well. Before that I was a housewife for about 16 years but had to return to work after the divorce. The toughest but ultimately the most rewarding and enjoyable job I've ever had was raising my 3 daughters and I have to say I have my ex-husband to thank for that.
Music - don't listen to much but when I do, I listen to Christian music. I also like the oldies. I really don't care for anything teenagers listen to. I call it noise.
I enjoy comedy when it comes to movies. I also enjoy action. I'm not the typical woman who loves to go and see a "chick flick". In fact, chick flicks and romance are the two types of movies I won't pay to see.
I'm interested in meeting someone who is genuinely nice. Someone who honestly cares about the feelings of others and someone who is confident about who he is. And yes, a good sense of humor is a big plus.

I would like a first date to be very simple. No fancy dinners/lunch. Just meet somewhere to talk.
