Hi Everyone......Oh God, This is the place I have to describe myself. Well.....I would say that I am a light hearted woman with a good sense of humor, a hopeless romantic to a fault, an adventurer who likes to be spontanious, a world traveller, a lover of learning new things.
As far as my interests....I have many....(can you see the list above??)

What I am looking for: as I stated above....right now, I am only interested in chatting with new people and making new friends.
I have just ended a long term relationship. (4 1/2 years) I don't believe in jumping headlong into a new relationship right away because of the "rebound factor."
It wouldn't be fair to me or the new person I was seeing. I believe you should take your time, mourn your loss, rid yourself of emotional baggage, find your center (in your soul)....then move on!
So....for now.....I would just like to make new friends and chat for a bit......and see who is out there.

When I am ready to start dating again-
What I want in a "Significant Other,"..........
Guys....you MUST be SINGLE.......no multiple dating....doesn't fly with me.
Not "kinda seperated".....or things of that nature. SINGLE.....and moved on!!!!!
I want to meet a "like-minded" person......sharing the same interests is a big plus!
Open minded, adventerous, social, light-hearted. Must be able to keep up with me.

DEFINITE TURN OFFS--NO SMOKING (I am an ex-smoker)
NO ALCOHOLICS! (light social drinking is OK--I really don't like bars)
And guys....drinking 4-5 times a week...IS NOT light social drinking)
ABSOLUTELY NO DRUGS---NO EXCEPTIONS (only meds)

I would like my future LTR partner to have an education and a good job (I have the same) Should not be indebt up to your eyeballs.
AND--someone who "works so they can live".....NOT..."LIVES TO WORK"
Then....you lose sight of the truley important things in life!

I am looking for real friendship and a BEST FRIEND who could be the LOVE of my life and my ONLY MAN. I am not interested in anything less. I want one good man who really wants to be With ME, for the peson that I am,for the rest of my life. So I'm searching for that special relationship that could blossom into something eternal and lasting. Someone to walk with and to hold. I want us to laugh together, share our joys and pains together, and have a mutual goal...to live our lives to the fullist, and strive to have happiness consume every waking moment of our lives.

I am unforgettable and some would say hard to get over. I love harder, deeper, stronger, and more passionately than many people in this day and age. Love, people, and relationships are very important to me.

You can rest assured that IF you become my man, then you and your needs would become a very serious priority in my life. I take matters of the heart extremely seriously and try to always be a positive force and not to hurt anyone. I have suffered in my life and want to enjoy the rest of it. I believe strongly in mutual respect and loving behaviors towards all people. I believe in walking away from mean people (abusive types) Folks like that only drag you down and start rotting your spirit. Free yourself from negitive energy and surround yourself with the positiveness of friends, family, and an everlasting LOVE. (Isn't that what life is about??)

But....for right now--if you are looking for a good friend to chat with and get to know.....look no further. There are no strings attatched here. (only the heart strings of a good friend) I know....it's sappy...go ahead and laugh!

I would like a first date to be light and fun with no expectations. I see it as an opportunity to make a wonderful, lifelong friend and think about letting that friend be something more if all falls into place well.
We should be able to talk and just hang out with NO PRESSURE. I would like to do something fun that would give us a chance to get to know each other better. Then hopefully we'll hit it off and have lots of good times together. No hurry.
I think a really good and fun meal would be nice to start. Anywhere would do, but something low key like a cafe place or even a local hang might be fun and more relaxing.
A Great movie is also one of my favorites....but might be best suited for a 2nd date....due to the "no talking in the theaters" policy.

For the more athletic types....or those in the martial arts.....NOTHING is better on a first date than putting on the gloves and going a few rounds to decrease the stress and tension.....well....this may be better for date 3......by then you may want to fight over a dissagreement from the movie the night before!!!
