One of my favorite quotes is "I know that I'll have regrets, but that's the price of one more lesson learned" from a song by one of my favorite bands, She Wants Revenge. I don't mind risking the experience of pain and disappointment for the sake of diving headfirst into what might be an exciting adventure, an important life experience, or a chance at something beautiful, no matter how fleeting it may be. I'd rather try and fail, then give in to cynicism and past resentment, and not try at all. I love life, growing, learning, exploring, and would love nothing more than to find a partner in these pursuits, as well as someone to discuss them with, endlessly, and to debate with, fiercely and passionately. Reading, dancing, and traveling are my favorite ways to pass my time in this world, so it would be great if my partner shares these interests, at least to some degree. Also, I'm open to trying pretty much anything else, at least once, and definitely look forward to new challenges and experiences.

I'm always open to exploring new places or activities. Dancing or listening to live music would be great, or getting to know one another over a bottle of wine at a quaint restaurant. A stroll down a city street is always pleasant as well.
