About Me
They say still waters run deep and so it is with me. Dip your toe into my depths and you will find an uncommon man who may be what you seek. Perhaps I am a complex man, but I think it is simply that there are layers to who I am. On the outside, I am a 60 year-old CPA who does not look, feel, or act my age. I am the tax partner in a good-sized CPA firm with many years of successful practice under my belt. I am an expert in my field and I bring knowledge, expertise, and passion to my work. The professional layer surrounds the family person. I have been divorced for several years, long enough to have gotten past the issues and to be ready for my last, best relationship. Since the divorce, I have been the custodial parent of my three children, one of whom is married with a son and two of whom are finishing college. Caring for them and growing closer to them has been the best experience of my life. I value family above all and would welcome the opportunity to expand the number of people at the table as you become part of the circle and your family joins mine. The next layer is the friend. That person prefers jeans and polo shirts with well worn sneakers, loves laughter and friendship and sharing. I enjoy the outdoors, tennis, golf, biking, exploring places and having new adventures but I especially enjoy sharing them with a companion who can be a friend first…and more later. Finally, the deepest part, a secret self, known by few. This inner core is caring, compassionate, and sensitive. This often unseen side has been on a quest to find companionship, friendship, communication, and partnership in an intimate relationship that will last the rest of my life. Each is me…all are me. Simple to complex, visible to hidden. But what am I looking for? What I seek is the synergy created by two passionate, spontaneous, complex individuals who value each other and understand the challenge of trying to blend their individual personas into the duality that represents a relationship. No matter how many words I use to try and capture the illusory image of who you are and who we might become, we will know when we meet. So, let us meet...
