Recently I have made time for writing, since I aspire to be a children's book author and screenplay writer. That's in addition to my every-day teaching career. Yes, I am not ready to retire--got energy! got goals! Want to do what I can to contribute to art and society while I can. Art, singing and playing guitar, dancing are other favorite pastimes. It's been a long time since I've gone dancing. What's happened to all the hoofers? I like all kinds of music including upbeat country, not tear-jerking country, please. I’m serious and philosophical, yet fun-loving; dependable, but spontaneous and open-minded. I always strive for an improved understanding of myself and the world. I'm committed to my teaching profession--although I rarely take it home with me--and emotionally and financially stable.

Reasonable physical fitness is important. I love my regular workouts, the way they make me feel and look!

I assume a first date means after the meet-for-coffee initial get-together. You now know that I look as good or better than my photos. Okay, so now we know there's some chemistry and some common interests. How about kayaking? I don't have one, but willing to rent. Or a hike at Montano de Oro or Morro Bay State Park? If you want to be really romantic you'd buy us dinner at a candle-lit restaurant overlooking the ocean. That could be the second date. Then of course I'd make you a great salmon steak on the follow-up date. How about a concert at the Midstate Fair in Paso Robles? Also the Festival Mosaic is in full swing in San Luis Obispo, and from experience I know those are great concerts.
