I am new to this online dating thing and am giving it a try to see if it's even worth my while. After all, the bar scene is predictable and gets old fast! Anyway, I consider myself to be an very independent, fun loving, intelligent, affectionate guy who is also very simple and down to earth. I like to hang out with friends, exercise, attend sporting events, read anything sports related, or magazines involving music, sports or muscle cars. I also like to stay in shape as well and eat right too. Taking care of oneself and feeling good about oneself go hand in hand. My favorite cars are Mustangs (having had 3 of them in the past 10 years), and my favorite sport is baseball, with the St Louis Cardinals and the Oakland A's being my favorite teams. I want eventually to have a career, and to be financially stable as well. I will have to say that my sense of humor is probably what makes me most unique and it is probably most reflected in the movies I have (Bruno, Borat, Superbad, Stepbrothers, The Hangover, etc.). I listen to all kinds of metal, with some electronica and classic rock thrown in, too.

My ideal woman would be someone who knows how to physically take care of herself, is attractive, is also very affectionate (likes giving as well as receiving affection), has a great sense of humor, loves to laugh, have fun, likes sports, just a woman who is an all around pleasure to be around. I don't think that's too much to ask for at all, and it's not perfection I'm asking for here, just the qualities I look for in a woman.

Anything where we could have the opportunity to talk and get to know each other. Going out to eat then maybe a walk somewhere would be a good start. Not too big on the movie idea because it doesn't allow us the time to get to know each other, which is critical to forming an impression as to whether or not there will be a second date.
