I love to stay fit. I run and swim regularly, and consider myself quite athletic. In the next year I'd like to do a half marathon. I am thin, but proportioned. My eyes are green and definitely are my best feature. I am always told that I have "very pretty" or "beautiful" eyes. I look Irish, and that's what I am!

Oncology nursing is my career and I earned my national certification in August. I am now an "oncology nurse specialist". It is a high calling to care for cancer patients, and I love what I do. However, it also depleting mentally, physically, and emotionally. Having strong personal relationships and a fulfiling personal life brings balance, I believe.
Philadelphia is my home, and I will always be a Philly girl. My east coast mentality is retained intact.
Politically, I'm well informed and consider myself very conservative. However, I am objective and open-minded, not a straight-ticker voter. Animal rights and advocacy as well as anti-smoking legislation (proponent) separates me philosophically from my Republican party.

I am a total giver in my relationships, and consider myself easy to please. A telephone call every day to tell me you're thinking of me is worth more than diamonds to me! I am a good (active) listener and conversationalist. I am not selfish with my time, and I am adaptable. Material things are of little interest to me. I want to be loved and cherished above all. I need reassurances that he is thinking about me all the time. The man who wins me will have a treasure.
Music really lifts my mood. I love to listen all the time. Classic rock (e.g., Led Zeppelin, Lynard Skynard, The Who, Eric Clapton, etc.), 70's and 80's, disco music, soul love songs (e.g., Luther Vandross, Barry White, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, etc.), and so much more...my taste is eclectc. I even like classical music and the San Diego Symphony.

I am very energetic and have plenty of stamina. A first date should be a FUN date. A day at the San Diego Zoo or Knotts Berry Farm would be right up my alley. I go on all rides except those where I'd be inverted (I'm not scared--I just get too dizzy and don't recover quickly). I don't tire easily at all!
