I've got a new job in a new town,and I don't know anyone in the area. I'm very laid-back. I like trying things; food, events whatever probably isn't going to kill me. I'm definitely a "why not?" person. I'm also easily amused.
I'm told I have a rather odd sense of humor that people either think is pretty funny, or their eyes cross. I've been known to play the occasional prank. I'm a nerd. I'm sarcastic, and I have an honesty policy. Also, I'm not crazy. I know some guys are into crazy chicks, but I'm not. Sorry!
Also, I'm tall. I'm 5'9'' in bare feet, so even in a modest pair of heels I'm 6 ft tall.
I love being girly with my lady-friends, I also love star trek and video games, RPGs to be specific. I'm known in my circle of friends as a huge nerd. I prefer marvel to DC.
I go dancing a lot, line dance, ballroom dance and club dance, and I would like someone who would like to go with me occasionally and participate, not just drink and stare at me or the walls all night.
I like critters of any sort, but I love dogs. I have one, and my Mom's dogs live with me right now too. I don't watch tv at all anymore.

I think a first date should be casual and fun. Dinner someplace relaxed where you can have a conversation, or maybe a low pressure activity like mini-golf, bowling or just a walk somewhere.
