This is the difficult part, what to say, hmmmmm, maybe I'll just stick to the recommended format. My interests are many, but the hobbies I have the time for working out/exercise, hiking, reading, and an occasional experiment in cooking. The goals I have for my life are simple be the best person I can be, be the best christian I can be, and take what life gives me and make the best of it, everything will fall into place as planned. At least that is the philosophy I try to live by. What makes me unique is that I'm honest, almost to a fault at times, but in my experience honesty works out best in the end. I never argue, but discuss. I'm willing to admit when I'm wrong or have acted poorly. I value input from others and am not afraid to admit what I don't know. I'm not pretentious, and it's not my goal to impress others. I want material things, as we all do, but I don't value it above all else, and material things don't define my happiness, in fact I'm often happy with less. I have a big heart and not afraid to open up to those closest to me. I value respect for others and dislike condescension and pettiness. I'm not competitive and don't see life or relationships as a competition. I'm admittedly a bit shy at first, but open up relatively quickly. Friends of mine will likely say I'm loyal, devoted, intelligent, and helpful whenever I can me. I love to laugh and make those around me laugh when possible. Lastly I'm far from perfect, so I don't expect perfection of those around me. My taste in music varies from folk to rap, though rap is my least favorite music form. First dates are an opportunity to get to know each other, outside of letters on a page, and experience body language and other nuances that can't be experienced online. It's an opportunity to explore if there is chemistry,and if the other person really is what they claim to be, at least in our own perception. So, a first date would be someplace where we can talk, without too many distractions. I like lunches or dinners, miniature golf, or walks in a park, on a boardwalk, on a beach, or all of those if time allows. I like to play it by ear, and I'm always open to suggestions.
