I enjoy stereotypical things for a guy my age—but I appreciate non-typical things, too. How can someone describe that?

I like Terminator, Robocop and Rocky; Big Fish, Family Man and Forrest Gump; Ghostbusters, Back to the Future and Jaws. I listen to Rock, Metal, and Alternative music; as well as 90’s, 80’s, 70’s—even oldies. You could find me outside working around the house listening to The Cascades or The Zombies just as easily as you would find me inside fixing the dryer while blasting Metallica.

What I’m trying to convey is that I don’t embody any single archetype—I’m a little bit of them all, but none to an excess. I’d like to think that I’m intelligent, logical person, who is thoughtful and probably compassionate to a fault. I’d like to find someone with a similar mindset—a person who is open to adventure and new experiences.

With summer in full swing, I’m looking forward to taking the bike rather than the car, sports, and nights out. Relaxing at Bradford Beach, finding a new restaurant to visit, or perhaps a point of interest in the city all sound like a blast. Between work, recreation and school, I’d like to share my time with someone who would enjoy these activities as much as I—so if you’re interested, say hello? :)

My ideal first date would break away from the norm. A walk downtown to dip into a restaurant we've never been in, or perhaps a ride on the cycle along the lake. Meet at the State Fair for carnival rides and elephant ears, or simply hook up for a game of disc golf.
