An ideal relationship for me would be one in which both of us feel comfortable enough to say whatever comes to mind at any given moment, without fear of judgement. I think if a woman enjoys communicating on that level, then we've got something. Enjoying and producing quality, stimulating, witty, intelligent conversation is a lost art. When your minds are in sync, then you know you really have something special.

At "40 something" most people have had many different kinds of experiences (hopefully). Taking the time to get to know someone - the person they are now - what experiences shaped their views and personality, in my opinion, is very important in developing a long lasting committed relationship.

First date would be really fun and relaxed - a place where I could make you laugh with silly jokes e.g. "why do cows lay down when it rains...to keep each udder warm"...
