Hi! My name is Amanda and I'm a little skeptical of this whole POF thing (people aren't always who they claim to be) but I'm over the whole club and bar scene and figured 'why not' lol. Anyways, I'm 26 and work as a Security Specialist for a Gov't Contractor full time and work part-time as well..I work extremely hard for what I have and was raised to go out and get what you want out of life! Would I say I hate my job...NO, but would I say I love love love it...ummm that'd be a NO too..lol, but nonetheless I'm very proud of my career thus far and only see it going up from here . I came onto POF bc I am over meeting insecure men (with hangups who never quite grew up) at bars and clubs and so I figured I'd give this a try..don't get me wrong..I like to go out and have a good time, who doesn't?? But I do not live to go to the bar/club..that scene got really old really quickly. Now I find myself wanting to go out so that I can enjoy the company I am with and the atmosphere..I'm just as happy going out as I am staying in and watching a funny movie..Basically, I know who I am and know what I have to offer....I have my act together but I am still a big kid at heart...I love my famiy and friends more than anything in this world and try to spend as much time with them as possible! If your not close with your family or can't handle a girl that is then no need to finish reading my profile..I'm probably not the girl you're looking for :) Anyways, I guess the best way to describe what I am looking for is simply this..I am looking for somone who I can make and can make me feel like it's Christmas morning everyday =)

I never really gave much thought to this but if I had to say I would like to maybe go to dinner..something low key where there isn't much pressure on either of us..and get to know one another! And I guess if there's chemistry we could let things progress from there..naturally..if things work out and we hit it off great..if not - it's no biggie :)
