I am a very open person. I probably reveal a bit more about myself than most people because I spent so much time being shy as a child that I feel I'm making up for lost time where I didn't have the voice to speak out for myself and stand up for what drives me.

I am entertained by and attracted to intelligence, ambition and curiosity. I have many interesting stories to tell about myself and would like the person I share my time with to be equally enthralling. I'm looking not to find someone to make me happy but to enhance the happiness I already feel by meeting a potential companion.

I work a lot and love my job, although I can complain about it from time to time. I am the kind of person who can go on a day trip all by myself and have a blast, but would rather spend time with someone who inspires me and lifts my spirits.

I love reading, theatre, art, psychology, basically anything that reads into/questions emotions and motivations for actions and feelings. I tend to be a little sentimental at times.

My immediate goals are to find new people to share my time with and to venture out and try a new variety of living and experiencing new situations.

I tend to surround myself with people that I find humorously compatible to me. Sharing my humor is something I rate almost as the highest quality I need out of a friend and partner.

For a first date I would want the opportunity to get to know you, so a quiet, basic place would be best. Meeting for coffee or a couple drinks depending on the situation would be ideal for a first meeting. I am mainly here to look for someone to connect with and feel close to on a more serious level, so if you are looking to merely hook up this won't work out.
