Optimistic, bright, articulate man. No baggage, no secrets, no regrets, no remorse. Really love movies and comedy(live or televised stand-up). I like animals. I like children. I definitely know my way around the kitchen (cooking...not dishes).
I love to cook big meals to share with friends or someone special.

The last thing I've read was "Napalm & Silly putty" by George Carlin. I open it and read random pages from it when I need to remind myself to have a sense of humour about life. His warped view of life is enlightening, to say the least. Red Green does it for me too...lol.

Then there's the quiet times just sitting together for a movie or listening to a CD while cuddling between sipping wine. How about a walk in the park when it's raining, holding hands then a kiss under a tree while the swans swim by in the river.

There's always so much to do. Doesn't matter, really, as long as it's not boring. Intelligent conversation and a sense of humor are a must. Just to spend time and laugh with someone you like is enough 4 me. No expectations. Could be anything from a long walk together or a nice dinner or a friendly drink and a game of pool. Meeting at a Tim Horton’s or going to a movie is not at all a good idea for a first date. Not gonna get to know each-other in a movie theater(SSSHHHHH). Let's make it fun!!! We have the rest of our lives to go to the movies.

Here's something I wrote recently. Yes these are MY words and thoughts.

Tell me you like the "simple" things in life. You ARE deserving of roses but that's just old and un-original. I can be romantic but I may chose something like making my own flowers from the craft store out of polka dot cellophane paper. They also last forever.
I would probably skip the movie all together. Can't talk and get to know you in the theatre. Instead, we could go shoot a game of pool, talk, joke around, have a Budweiser and scarf down a greasy burger and nachos. I don't eat much fast food so a burger is a treat when I’m out and about. At another time, I can cook a nicer meal for you than the restaurant would serve. Afterward, we could go dancing at a club or check out a live band (if things are still going well). Now I take you home in a taxi, walk you to your door. Give you a long sensual kiss good night (or not) then walk back to the taxi for my ride home. All the while wishing you had invited me in for a nightcap but knowing that with patience and time, there will be another opportunity. We have the rest of our lives to get to know each other.
