I'm just a nice young guy trying to find my way in the world. I have great friends and a great family, but am also looking for that special person to share my time with. Someone to spend nights out on the town with, or a cozy night at home with dinner and a movie. I'm a social person. For the most part I would rather be around others doing nothing, than to be doing something alone. I manage by myself, but just find life to be more enjoyable with others around.

I'm a decent cook, and like to do so. I can have as much fun joking with friends over dinner as I do spending a bunch of money on the town. I'm back on the work-out bandwagon, down 50+lbs since this spring. I would love to meet someone who enjoys working out, regardless of current fitness level, to help keep me motivated and strong. As far as working out, I like to go to the gym, but I also have fun just walking around, playing volleyball or golf. It has taken me a little bit but I've finally come to the realization, that I am comfortable with myself, but not yet happy with myself, and I'm finally doing something about it.

I currently do IT work, and start classes in the winter to work towards my Master's degree. I have a good job with a good company. I work as a means to enjoy life. Some weeks I work hard, others can be pretty calm. It important to me at this point in time to have a life outside of work. I will work long hours when need be, but rarely do I have more than a week or two stretch where I'm stuck working a lot.

I'm pretty open for a first date. I'd agree with most that a movie doesn't provide a good atmosphere for getting to know someone, but if the 'date' were fairly long there's no reason why a movie couldn't be part of it.

Otherwise things like walking around the zoo or museum, are casual enough to be comfortable, but there are things to talk about around every corner.
