It's the age old question. Kind of like Coke or Pepsi? Sega or Nintendo? Prime Rib or Chicken? ... Okay, so maybe I made the last one up. But it seems like an age old question ;). Maybe you have an answer that isn't one of those options at all. I'm an open-minded guy.

Regardless, just looking to meet new people and get myself out there. I'm a pretty dorky guy with simple interests. I like pubs, good beer, and good company; board games and wine also hit the spot. Every so often, I like to get out and dance.

I love my Sci-Fi and fantasy: things like Battlestar, Firefly, True Blood etc. I have an eclectic taste in music ranging from Norah Jones, Sara Bareilles to Marilyn Manson and System of a Down. I like to sing (badly) to just about anything and laugh lots, often at times when maybe I shouldn't. (Like that part at the end of "Titanic", and the guy fell off the boat and bounced off the propellor. Yeah, I laughed.) As you might guess, I have a fairly dry, somewhat irreverent sense of humour. I play hockey, as well as hopelessly follow the Canucks.

I'm a fifth year high school teacher and love what I do. Looking to meet people with similar interests.

Something simple. I like good conversation, so a location that lends itself to that would be great.
