I enjoy my volunteer work at the Hospice as well as the Mission. I feel that it is important to give back to the community and helping others at the same time. If we do not care for each other, who will care for us? I have been widowed now for over four years and feel that it is time for me to try and meet a hopefully life-long partner to put first in my life. I am tired of being alone and I`m not afraid to admit that. I have a lot to offer the right lady. I am passionate about life and all that it has to offer as well as what I can offer life. I have a good sense of humor and like to laugh (but only if it`s something funny). I love the outdoors and I am very active. I also like to do whatever my parter likes to do (If I ever find one) because if she is happy, it makes me happy also. I am not interested in dating if there is no possibility of a long lasting relationship. Hopefully, someday it would lead to marriage or at least a permanent commitment to each other. I believe in love and compassion as well as acceptance, tolerance, forgivness and honesty. I love to spend time at my place up on Lake Huron in the Summer and it would be nice to share that as well. I would like to meet a lady who takes care of herself physically as well as spiritually and emotionally.
