Ever been stranded at sea? I have. How about being hit by a car? I have. How about this one... ever been on fire? I have. As a teacher, I love to do all of the obvious things - read, write, learn new things. But I also enjoy traveling, country and western dancing, snorkeling, snow skiing, camping, hiking, crafting, watching Cowboys football. I have a list of things that I would like to learn. For instance, I would like to learn to scuba dive, hit a softball pitch, play tennis and build a bird house. I am looking forward to having someone to learn these things with me or that is willing to spend some time teaching me.

Because I believe that first dates are for talking and getting to know each other, I would enjoy going somewhere that is not too loud. I enjoy quiet hole in the wall type restaurants, coffee shops in book stores, or feeding ducks or fish in the park. I love horseback riding (though I am far from from a pro at it) and picnics as well. All of these places would make pleasant backdrops for conversation don't you think?
