I was raised in a small family, only my brother and me. My parents stayed married and we lived in the city. I love living now in a rural area with not so close neighbors. I am an in-between homebody. I love to go on week-end trips but on the average stay close to home within 100 miles or so. Like to take longer and further away vacations though. I have 2 inside dogs and 2 outside fenced dogs. But you wouldn't know I have 2 pets inside when you walk in the door. I have several true, long time female friends. I am faithful, loyal and dependable, young at heart, good money manager. I am outgoing in that I don't have a problem approaching and talking with someone in any given situation. My daughter is my advisor on clothes, etc. to stay in the young! If I say I am going to do something, I do it and like the same in return. I like to be able to express an opinion whether it agrees with another's or not. I trust first, then if that fails, it's hard for me to get it back. I am not spontaneous for some things. I like having a destination when I set out. I don't get up in the mornings on the weekends and head out the door first thing. I like time to think how to start my day out first, then follow thru. I have been known to make to-do lists. Routine is usually my game thru the week, mainly because of working. After retirement, I might find I want to change things. I do go to church on a regular basis and have a relationship with God. I maintain my own yard so I am outside a lot in the summer doing things. My taste in music usually depends on what mood I'm in. I like Contemporary Christian, Country, John Tesh radio show and light rock n' roll. My daughter lives about 2 hours away so I don't get to enjoy a lot of things because doing things alone would not be fun, duh! It was our family tradition to go to Riverbend, 4th of July fireworks, 41 Hwy Yard Sale, after Thanksgiving Day sale (get up at 5 am), but since she has moved my way of life has changed and I would like to have someone to do things with. like in my interests section (also known as a running buddy). I like to drive my 1987 Trans Am. It's a 5 speed but I baby it because who could afford to rebuild and/or drop crate a new engine? It has 205,000 miles on it and I still love to drive it even after 15 years of ownership.

Since it is summer, I would like to meet outside, public of course, and walk and talk. I love nature, so the place could be a park, or in a mall or window shop in a shopping center. Then, if that is comfortable and we would like to extend the visit, then go to a restaurant and enjoy a meal together.
