About Me
I am down to earth, outgoing, and a good listener. I enjoy spending time with friends, listening to music, going to the movies, going to the mall. I am also an avid reader. I have a knack for the culinary arts, and enjoy cooking a nice meal for my friends or a special someone. I respect people for who they are and not based on what others say about them. I am my own person and really do not bother worrying about what others think of me. I enjoy unwinding at the end of a long day of working or studying by watching some TV or reading a book. A few of my favorite shows are CSI, Bones, Law and Order: SVU, and Numb3rs. Some of my favorite singers/groups are Journey, Kelly Clarkson, Eagles, Bruce Springsteen, Creedance Clearwater Revival, the Temptations, Michael Jackson, New Kids on the Block, U2, Avril Lavigne, Charlotte Church, Darude, Bon Jovi, Heart, 3LW, Dream, Taylor Swift, Evanescence, Carrie Underwood and LeAnn Rimes. I am also not particularly into the whole bar/dance club scene. I also enjoy traveling. I have been to Canada, Bermuda, Morocco and Spain. I enjoy going for hikes, bowling, kayaking and swimming. I find that learning new things and having new experiences is the best part of life. At some point in the hopefully near-future, I plan on re-tracing my roots by visiting Ireland.
I would like to meet a female who is honest, down to earth, and outgoing. She should have a great personality and carry herself with respect for herself and others. I would like someone who enjoys the great outdoors but also enjoys downtime relaxing in a nice coffee shop. I am looking for someone who will enjoy spending time out and about but also spending time at home alone with each other just having a nice conversation, watching a movie or relaxing by the fire on a cold fall/winter evening or sitting out on the porch on hot spring/summer evening.
First Date
The first date would either be relaxing at a coffee shop and getting to know each other or going bowling and getting to know each other. Even going out to dinner at a restaurant would be a good time to get to know each other. For me though, it is more enjoyable to have a date in a more casual setting like a coffee shop or a bowling alley.
Going to a movie or a concert is not suitable for a first date.
