How's it going? Well I tried this thing before, and got off of it. But just for the heck of it, decided to try again. Well my hobbies are pretty much anything outdoors. Hiking, biking, 4-wheeling, camping, learning about the natural world, you name it. Also I love to draw, do graphic design (finally landed a nice freelance job, woohoo!!!), photography, and just hanging out with friends. I'm very passionate about a few things in life. One of them is our country and our god-given freedoms, and I don't mean the cliché meaning of freedom we all hear about. I mean the type the founding fathers understood.

My goals in life are pretty simple right now. Just to have a nice job so I can live comfortably. Also to have people around me that I love and want to be around. Combine that with some great outdoors, and I'm a happy camper!

I think what makes me unique is that I can pretty much adapt to anybody. I can come to their level and understand them, their situation, or whatever. I always like to make people feel good, by making them laugh or cracking a joke about something. Of course not a joke about something serious.

As far as music goes, I'm really not that picky. Don't really care for rap all that much. But rock is definitely in there. Metal is good sometimes, also Christian is good, as I used to play in a Christian band for a number of years. I miss those days. I guess a little tech/electronic-ish music is cool too.

And..just for fun, I'll give you an "in a nutshell" version of my philosophy about life. Maybe it'll help tell you a little more about the real me.

I look at each step of life as a new adventure. The older I get, the more I learn about the world, myself, and the more I enjoy simply being alive and free. I hate when they say "you better do this and that now, while you're young". Forget that! Do what you want in life whenever you want. If you open your mind a little bit, I guarantee you'll get something out of it no matter what. Maybe that means something you couldn't have appreciated when you were younger. Doesn't really matter. Know yourself, be yourself. Don't let anyone tell you you can't. You're ego is the only thing that holds you back. It is the source of fear, the fear that controls you and your life. The world is a giant city of illusion. The illusion fed to you is nothing but a series of tools for your ego to create fear, in order to control you. It tells you to buy this product, sign up for this service, in order to make your life better, for you to be beautiful, successful and accepted. Understand that these systems, these salespeople rely on your creation of fear and insecurity to convince you that you have a problem. Then they offer you the solution and you're expected to trade your labor for their fake solution. Once you understand that their answer to the problem (the product you buy) is not only a fake solution, but it is also designed to keep you coming back to buy more of their manufactured "solution". It keeps you enslaved to the system, and even encourages you to go into debt, and remain in debt for the rest of your life, and even your children's life.

Once you understand that the true solution can be found in the exact same place as your fear, you will start to understand what it is to truly be free. It's all in your mind. Your fear (your voluntary slavery), as well as your true freedom (your true solution). Free your mind! You owe it to yourself! Surround yourself with like-minded people, who boost you up and encourage you to push on.

Life is all about balance. When you learn to balance your mind, you learn to balance your body. You then learn to balance your life. The mind, body, and spirit are dependent upon each other. To be in tune with these allows you to find your equilibrium. Listen to them. Play by their rules, because they will truly return the favor to you. When you find equilibrium, you also balance your energy. Find and surround yourself with those who compliment your equilibrium, who give off positive energy that your energy will feed on. You will naturally feed off of each other's energies, while at the same time will be adding to each other's. Negative energies will only drain yours. Because they lack the positive energies, they will inevitably rob your energy from you to try and make up for theirs.

A movie was made called Koyaanisqatsi. It is a Hopi Indian phrase that means "Life out of Balance". It is up to you to create your life of balance. Your attitude is your choice. This life is completely up to your choosing. There are only 2 forces that drive all: Fear and Love. To be free is to love. To love is to be free. This life, your life, is what you make of it. That's it! Get out of the herd! Don't follow the sheep!!!

For a first date, it's hard to say what I'd do. I would honestly depend on our interests, and how well we know each other first. I will say it would likely be something like a setting where we could get to know each other and talk. Most likely not a movie theater. That's kind of cliché anyway I think, for the first. Just something simple like a bite to eat, and maybe a walk out somewhere, watch the sun set or something like that.
