I'm ready to find someone who is at the same point in there life as I am...happy, content and secure, but ready to find that special someone to make it complete. I am the single mom of a 15 year old son who makes me proud every day. My hobbies and interests include a variety of things...art (which is what I teach), traveling, spur of the moment weekend getaways, gardening, working on my home, cooking, antique and flea markets, spending as much time as I can outdoors, going to the beach and the mountains. I'm always up for having a good time. I love spending time with good friends~ I come from a very small family, so my friends have always been an important part of my life. I'm friendly, outgoing, easy to get along with, love to have fun, and above all, genuine (I'm definately a "what you see is what you get" kind of person.) I believe honesty is the most important quality in a relationship and would need to know my partner feels the same...some rules just can't be broken! I tend to take things slow~ I believe that building a friendship into a relationship makes for a solid foundation. Hopefully this will be a good journey to meet someone wonderful and if all things are right, turn it into something more.

I think first dates should be kept as simple as possible...meeting somewhere for coffee or drinks. Wherever we choose would have to be quiet and comfortable, a great atmosphere for conversation and getting to know one another. I don't really believe in chemistry on the first date, but hopefully we'll get an idea if things are right enough to plan a second one!
