After unexpectedly finding myself single last year i thought it was about time i got back into the big wide world of dating.

I like a wide variety of things but as i have spent a lot of time in Australia i enjoy the great outdoors whether it being walking, cycling or simply enjoying a cold beer in the local pub garden. I enjoy nights in as well as nights out and like to be in good company.

My interests include watching sport, especially football. Although as a Nottingham Forest fan this isn't always a positive experience!

My taste in music can vary from day to day. Today in my car i was listening to Green Day but yesterday was Lily Allen, it really depends on my mood that day. My favourite band of all time is probably Oasis and listening to their earlier albums brings back great memories of university days.

I'm really lucky to have great friends and family who are really important to me which means my life is hectic, but a lot of fun.

The kind of man i would like to meet would need to be like-minded, honest, have a sense of adventure and most importantly, make me laugh.

It would be lovely to find someone special to share a few glasses of wine (or beer) with and enjoy the good times. I like meeting new people, and if I end up with some new friends from this that will be great!

I suppose the first date is about getting to know eachother so a nice table for 2 in a bar or restaurant would be ideal.
