Hobbies - Spending time with my dog, Deuce, entrepreneurship, finance/economics, real estate and flipping properties, computers and high-tech, the restaurant biz, i.e. Food, Wine, Hospitality and The Craft, cooking, especially for others, beer brewing, reading (I read about 1 book every 2-3 weeks), self-education, comedy, politics, philosophy and women. Running, sculling and kayaking on Lady Bird Lake, watching almost all sports, poker, chess, backgammon, anything AUSTIN, TX. Traveling, Volunteering, mostly at Reading For The Blind and Dyslexic.


Goals/Aspirations - to make my first million. They say the second and third million get easier after that! I plan to start my own company soon, meet a fun and intelligent female to share life with, and live life to it's fullest! Carpe Diem! I thoroughly believe that if you aren't having fun, you aren't doing it right! I am on a quest to start my own company..it might be a restaurant, or a tech company...
I have a list of the things I want to do over the rest of my life...if you are curious, just ask me for the list..some of them are to learn to fly, to scuba, to parachute, and run w/bulls Pamploma, Spain.

What makes me unique..Past girlfriends will tell you that I am probably a good poker player as I am hard to read. But I would say that I wear my heart on my sleeve. As a proud former U.S. Marine, I almost always have a positive outlook and believe in living in the now...I will do anything on a whim (and of course mostly within the law) and I am old-fashioned in the sense that I believe in holding doors open for women and treating them like the ladies that they deserve to be treated like. .

Music tastes: I listen to everything...I am that open! In the car, you will find me switching the station as I go. I recently became hooked on "Exotica Electronica", which you can find on www.ambientradio.com. I love to listen to jazz, especially on Saturday night's at my favorite Irish Pub downtown. I will get out and two-step with the best of them to a country song and rock all-night with the ac/dc in you. I will listen to "rap", but am limited and prefer old school rap, i.e. Snoop, Dr. Dre, and Eminim, in a limited amount.

I would try and ascertain some basic likes and dislikes about my date. Taking those into account, I would take her on a relaxed date, part adventure and part culinary treat. It's like cooking, if you have two quality ingredients, keep it simple, don't manipulate the ingredients too much by over seasoning them and just let the flavors develop to the fullest. The rest is a surprise!
