I am 28 years old, (mostly) Italian, and from the northwest Chicago suburbs. I recently began a career working with special education students as a school psychologist. That’s right folks – this long, strange trip through college and underpaid employment is finally over. My job rocks, but enough about that. I am a pretty laid back sort of guy. I tend not to get overly stressed out, and I keep a keen sense of humor about things. Life is too short to worry one’s self about petty issues.

I have an infatuation with music, and I am a self-described “music junkie.” While I enjoy all types of music, my auditory poisons of choice are usually classic rock and heavy metal. I feel the same way about most popular music nowadays as I do about herpes. I play guitar and bass, and I write songs as well. I feel that performance is a way for one to express what is sometimes inexpressible. As such, I enjoy going to concerts and “rocking out” with friends.

I am a fan of hockey and football, and to a lesser extent baseball. I am a die hard Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bears fan. I am much more a Cubs fan than a White Sox fan. As such, “wait until next season” is my mantra. There’s a lot more to me of course, but that’s up to you to investigate for yourself.

For a first date I would keep things pretty casual and brief as to potentially avoid an awkward situation if we do not mesh in person. Meeting for frozen yogurt sometime or, maybe even a whole meal of food if that'd be agreeable *(bonus points if you can name the film I plucked that from)* would be a good place to start so we could chat and get to know each other a bit. If we both click, then I would be open to doing something more elaborate on a future date (i.e., dinner/movie, concerts, dwarf tossing, etc.). I am open-minded about dating, and would like to do something that we would mutually enjoy while getting to know each other better at the same time.
