I love the outdoors,fishing,hiking, kayaking,beach combing, garage sales, bargain hunting, antiques as well as cosying up to a movie.I am 46, 5' 4' about 160. I try to stay fit and walk in the evenings after work.My hair is thinning but I have all my teeth! LOL! I want to find that special someone who shares my interests.I am short but I have a big heart! I have what is known as a "blue personality". Meaning I am compassionate,loving,not demanding or controlling. I am a lover not a fighter.I am also a hopeless romantic! I think the most important thing on a first date is communication.Spending quality time to get to know that person as well as having a great, unstressful, fun, time is what's important. After a great meal somewhere, I would try to engage in a fun activity where we both could talk freely. Since I like the outdoors, a walk along the lake or a park might be fine. A movie for example, is not really a good choice for a first date because you can't engage in conversation. It should be fun, relaxed, and unstressful. I would ask my date what she prefers to do and make her as comfortable as possible. I am a gentleman.
