Looking to meet new people I wouldn't in my normal day-to-day. You never know what a person will be in your life until you meet, so whether we hit it off as friends or more, we'll see.

I'm a tomboy/girl-next-door grown up into a mature, smartass of a woman. I don't take myself or others too seriously but care deeply about those close to me and am completely loyal.

Aside from all the typical things I like to do in my spare time, I volunteer at an animal shelter working with dogs, walking and training to help them become more adoptable. It's one of the highlights of my week. There's no day so bad that it can't be bettered by the wag of a tail.

I'm generally attracted to men who are confident and take-charge types, though I get along with pretty much everyone. I like men who appreciate an intelligent and independent-thinking woman, who are respectful and charming, and who know how to be their own person even when in a relationship.
