I have the attention span of a 10yr old. I've got ADD so you've got a short period of time to get, and keep, my attention. Say something interesting and have a picture of your face (I wanna know who I'm talking to). If you don't like dogs then you should probably stop reading. Also, I'm really bad at saying the first 'Hi' so feel free to drop a line.

I'm a masculine, stubborn guy who's seen some things, spent 5 months doing volunteer work in Tanzania, and love learning heaps about myself in the process. I like to say I'm pretty easy going. Considered the go-to guy..a bit on the quiet side till you get to know me.

I'll try just about anything at least once. I don't like head games and don't play them. I hate people who are arrogant, let things go to their head, or just in general keep tryin to impress or "one up". Just be yourself people.

I love sports, swimmin, skiing, and practically anything else that makes you feel alive. I'm passionate about life and living it to the fullest. I like having fun, days at the beach, stayin in, and hanging out with friends at pubs or houses. I also like curlin up with a book (that's right. I'm man enough to admit I read), driving to my cottage, cuddling with my guy and watching a movie. I love play fighting, going on adventures..all that lighthearted stuff. Its the little things that make up the big things in life.


OK! so this is a conversation I had on July 10th 2009, one day after joining this site. To protect who he is, no idea why I'm doing that, we'll call him 'J'. For those of you who get to know people like this, do me a favour, save us both the awkwardness, and don't try to get to know me.

Me: thats the most bullsh*t thing I've ever heard man..and I've heard a lot lol. wow.

Small town/country dudes who don't shave on weekends, and guys who come with a pre-installed accent get me excited. Irish, Aussie, Southern. . . . nice. I dig confidence and a little nasty insanity. Dudes who don't show off their muscles, they just have them. I like a guy who has some of that protective quality to him, but also won't smother.

Please not feminine. I like guys cuz they're guys.

He wants to show me off when I'm in my torn, grass-stained jeans and a hoodie. He's NOT ashamed of me when I don't look my best 100% of the time. He squeezes my hand. He whispers in my ear all kinds of nasty things that make me laugh at really inappropriate times. He won't always let me win. He calls me at night just to say 'hi' and see how my day was. Someone who I can laugh with and just goof around and know that everything doesn't always have to be serious.

Someone who I can chill and hang out with even if we're not having sex. He's my best friend. I love it when you just met someone and you can't stop talking and listening to their stories..you only have so much time, but want to know everything about them..and the feeling of being nervous and excited at the same time...He calls me handsome and adorable..not hot, fine, or sexy. You know, someone who kisses my forehead. So sue me..I've got a romantic side.

First Date (Example): We go out for dinner at a relaxed place, nothing too fancy (I'm not a really fancy guy), eat some good food, have a couple drinks on the patio, and just talk. Maybe depending where we are go for a walk or something after, just hanging out, if there's chemistry we could hit up a movie at his place or mine, layin back against him, and if it feels right, ending the night with a well placed kiss.

And on a last note..Coffee/Tea sit down chats are just too homo for me. I have ADD and it gets boring. I'm more of a lets grab a coffee/tea and go mini-putting or some other activity where we can laugh and have a good time!
