"Gimme a kiss to build a dream on
And my imagination
Will thrive upon that kiss
Sweetheart, I ask no more than this
A Kiss to build a dream on"

'Looking to find that special slice of happiness from the cake of life.'
Hi, I'm a mildly charming, slightly cheeky and sometimes witty kind of guy who enjoys being romanced as much as being romantic and have on occasion been accused of acting like a gentleman. I believe in magic, that is the magic a surprise or a smile can bring.
So far my overseas travels have taken me to Spain, Netherlands, France, Gibraltar and Morocco. There are quite a few other places I'd like to visit in the future including China, America, Japan and Italy to name a few.
On the education front I've got a B/A Hons Open University General Degree, bagged me 2 A levels at college and netted myself 10 GCSE's at school at C or above. Decided against being a Vet :-)
My tastes are quite varied, my music shelves have German metal band Rammstein rubbing shoulders with modern classical piano performances by Ludovico Einaudi, 80s cheese to trancy dance. It's all there. Just depends on how I'm feeling.
I've been involved a few times over the years and although they didn't work out I like to think I've learned more about relationships from my past experiences. Essentially I'm not narrow minded and will take things on board.
I'm pretty good at social adventures, be it an open evening for a show I've organised for a mayor and entourage, or leading the charge to the bar in a rock club, I tend to make friends pretty easily and try to maintain an easy approachable demeanor. I have a sensitive side and take a genuine interest in people, I also tend to be conscious of other peoples feelings (especially good if I judge they're about ready to buy me a drink :-) ), I'm very easy to talk to and good at providing emotional support.
I enjoy going on 'adventures' this can be anything from a spur on the moment drive to find a decent country pub, to a 'highly organised' trip to a concert. I aim to be courteous and considerate in all my social endeavors and if possible get a laugh or two.
I'm looking for a lady with similar interests, someone who can be themselves with me and also has a broad-mind, who can take pleasure in the simple things while getting excited about the bigger things (sounds a bit like the post office advert...'for the little things that make the big things happen'). A lady who likes a bit of adventure and cosy cuddlely evenings in equal measure and who actively promotes public displays of affection and likes to tell they're special fella just how special they make them feel (after all, us blokes can be a forgetful bunch).
We'll that’s the little textual snapshot into what I'm about, I entertain the idea I have further layers and depths to be explored but I think the above essay is enough.
Thanks for having a look.

PS: If I make the effort to send a message it would be nice to get a reply even if it's to say no thank you. Not too much to ask in the grand scheme of things.

For the first date I think a drink or a nice meal would be a good way of getting to know each other and seeing if there is a spark. It's all about breaking the ice and feeling comfortable with the person your with(can save the more exotic dates for later if things go well). I like to be romanced too (being a modern man and all), if a lady likes my company then I really appreciate her letting me know in any fashion at all! The other side of that is if she doesn't like my company then I prefer to be told (in a pleasant, polite fashion please).
