Okay, I'm submitting my mom's profile without her knowledge because she would never do this on her own. My mother is as beautiful inside as she is to behold - and we're talking Hollywood classic, Hedy Lamarr level gorgeous here, naturally, no help from synthetics or surgeries - and she deserves to be with someone who can appreciate all of her qualities. She is generous and kind, but she will also suffer no fools, liars or flakes, and she has a b.s. detector the likes of which none has ever encountered - it's what makes her so successful in her job! She is witty, articulate and smart as a whip, and so refreshingly genuine. Her pastimes include reading good books (mostly British comedies and mysteries), playing with her two adorable (I made them myself!) grandsons, enjoying the company of friends, traveling to cities where she relishes blending in and soaking up the culture, and engaging in too many creative and artistic pursuits to recount. Her taste in music runs the gamut from classical to standards to the Beatles, with occasional dips into current trends like Coldplay, the Fray and Jason Mraz.

Well, since I'm the one writing this and not my mom, I can say that she doesn't go for gimmicky - she is definitely a woman of the classics: a romantic dinner at an intimate bistro where the place is lively but low-key to allow for conversation. A preliminary tea/coffee meeting. No bungee jumping, cliff-diving, or anything else reality TV would lead a person to think was a normal date!
