I love to travel and meet new and interesting people. My love of tennis has fostered this as I have been to tennis tournaments all over europe and the usa and have meet some great people. When I am at home I love to go to the theatre I enjoy musical theatre the most . I lived in London for 10 years and was spoiled for choice in terms of theatre. I also love to read, I am presently going through all of Toni Morrison's books. I just finished reading Sula and am now in the middle of the Bluest Eye. My taste in music is all over the place. I love Santana, Michael Buble, Carlos Jobim,The Script, Nat King Cole,Jill Scott and basically whatever takes my fancy. I like music that is soothing to my ear and calms my soul. I am adventurous but not a crazy risk-taker, loving but not needy, independent but not too tough,career focused but not obsessed. I enjoy the finer things in life but money and trappings have no hold over me.

I am at a stage in my life where I would like to find a partner who has similar interests and with whom I can form a deep friendship which I hope can lead to a long term relationship. I am a people person because of all the travelling I have done for the past 5 years I have felt disconnected from my friends in particular and people in general. I want to feel that connectedness again and I hope to make some good friends through this site and keep positive that perhaps something more might happen.

For a first date I would prefer a non-threatening relaxed atmosphere where we could get to know each other without all the pressure of a formal "date" situation. Perhaps a group setting with other singles or a sports event...somewhere where we could just relax, have fun and see what happens. I dont necessarily need to be swept off my feet or "impressesd" on a first date (although I woulldnt object to it!!!)
