I'm a technology geek who likes to drink (in moderation) I love to hang out at dive bars and similar venues, but I have been known to visit a club now and then (I can't dance, though). I have guardianship over my 15 year old sister, so there's that obligation, but being a brother/sister relationship, it's a bit more relaxed than having a child of my own.

I'm a huge National Geographic / Discovery / History channel buff, but I really don't watch much TV. I'm trying to return to a more active life style and particularly love outdoor photography. I enjoy discussions on philosophy, politics, etc.., but don't ask me about religion. I was born and raised a baptist and now consider myself an atheist. If you want to know why, I'll explain it, but don't try to convert me. It ain't happening.

I have very few expectations in a relationship, save one: you must be willing to speak your mind and make decisions on your own. If you ask me what I feel like doing or where I feel like going, I'll tell you. I expect the same in return. If something bothers you, say something. I'm particularly fond of the sassy / sarcastic type. I don't want to lead and I don't want to follow. I'm my own person and you better be as well.

Probably a nice meal or a movie and then head back to my local watering hole for drinks. Hitting up down town St. Louis is an option, but I'm afraid I don't know the area well (despite having lived here for 10 years now), so if you wanna go across the river, be prepared to navigate / offer suggestions. I'm a pretty regular patron of Hollywood Showclub, so there's that option, if you're in to that kind of thing, but I don't mind if you're not.

I'm pretty open to suggestions, but if you don't have any, don't expect me to be overly creative. I'm a simple man with simple desires, and I prefer to keep it that way.
