Well, here goes a new experience. I am a retired teacher who is single by divorce. Father of two wonderful daughters who have brought much joy into my life. My oldest has two beautiful children of her own who capture my heart.

Been told I'm a friendly sort. Actually, I don't feel I've ever met a stranger. Also considered kind, loving, and honest and am interested in meeting a lady of similar character. Chemistry and mindsets go hand in hand if there's to be any spark at all.

Although politics is one of the least popular conversation items, I tend to follow what's happening and am politically conservative. I would welcome meeting another of similar outlook for the chemistry to bloom. If you're not of the same camp, that's okay. I wish you well in your search.

I am both religious and patriotic. The acceptance of God is a very important part of my life and I hope to meet someone with a similar belief. Patriotism today isn’t exactly the patriotism of our Founding Fathers. None the less, we live in the greatest country in the world and I'm very proud to be an American!

I enjoy most kinds of music with the exception of rap. Also enjoy dancing - probably my favorite sport. Ballroom, Latin, country, and square dancing are all fun as well as great exercise.

I also enjoy the out of doors. Anywhere from working in the yard . . . to spontaneously taking off for a day trip. Nature's a work of art that's hard to beat. Day or night, sunrise to sunset, moonlight to starry sky - love 'em all!

In doors you'll either find me at the computer or in the kitchen. I'm expanding a bit on the computer into the area of web design. And in the kitchen, you can find me just puttering. Always ready to share a recipe or two.
