Hi,

I am currently living in Darlington, having moved back from the Lake District, where i spent three lovely years living in Kendal.

I have a great and quite wicked sense of humor once you get to know me, quite a shy person at the start, once the ice is broken you will find a kind decent confident normal lad who loves to have a good chat about anything!

Work wise is running my own electrical installations business which i love, i also have my own home which i have totally renovated.

When not working i love motor sport and travel. Often if i have a free weekend and the weather is nice i will dig my car out of the garage and head over to somewhere like the lake district or Northumbria for a weekend and just chill with a beer or glass of wine and good book. Have just come back from a trip around Italy with friends which was great fun. Would really like to meet somebody who would be up travel and exploring new places.

Enjoy weekends away, either in a tent a hotel. Not done a music festival for a few years but used to really enjoy them. Last year i purchased an SLR camera and am just about getting the hang of how to use the thing!, love my photography.

Music wise i love pretty much everything. Snow patrol, feeder, Oasis, Ashcroft, Beatles, Zutons, blur,starsailor, REM etc etc etc! anything really! (Also like the occasional bit of cheese 80's, Shhhhhhh ;-)

I'm quite an old romantic at heart, love nothing more than cosy nights in with a bottle of wine (yeah i know it is a cliche but it is true!)on the sofa and a DVD. Occasionally do not mind a night painting the town.

Have life pretty much sorted, no major worries at all, just looking for that someone special, really want to get outdoors in the lakes more and do some walking, cycling etc. For the winter months i am enjoying using the gym though!

Ill cut straight to the chase and say i am not another guy looking for 'fun' or just 'sex'. I consider myself a bit more grown up and mature and quite frankly the future is definitely about finding a solid, confident girl who knows what she wants in life.. So, ok, i am a bit despondent with this site, its mainly full of people who waste my time. If your looking for a decent guy and want to take things nice and easy but have a long term view to settle down then get in touch - no rush or pressure but that's the ultimate goal i am now aiming for.
