Hi. :) My name is Lauren and I'm 23 years old. I live in Chicago, Illinois and work as a hair stylist/colorist.

I love to laugh... it doesn't take a whole lot to make me smile. I'm very caring... and would do anything to make sure everyone in my life is happy. I enjoy quiet nights at home, just reading a book/watching a movie in bed... as much as I enjoy going out and having a great time on the town.
I love romance... I don't think chivalry is dead.
I don't smoke, don't do drugs, and don't drink a lot. If you smoke, do drugs, or drink excessively, don't message me... sorry. I'll have a drink or two sometimes... but you'll never see me drunk. :)
The curls are natural. The straight hair is not.
I'm Italian and proud of it. I LOVE to cook... especially for/with a significant other. I'm slightly snobby when it comes to food, if I'm going to be completely honest... simply because I grew up with a gourmet chef as a mother... but don't get me wrong... I'll take a Chicago dog any day of the week, as well. :)
I'm a die hard White Sox fan.
Intelligence is a must have with me... I tend to be a "grammar nazi."
My favorite movie is True Romance... if you haven't seen it... please fix that.
I'm very domestic and often get told I'm old for my age because of it. I love to take care of the guy I'm with. But... it has to be a two way street... and, in the past, it hasn't been.
I can be extremely silly at times.
I love Harry Potter... books and movies.
I love to bowl and play miniature golf.
I love the Rat Pack.
I'm very serious when I say cheating is one of the most awful things a person can do to another person. I think if you're trying to pursue someone, you shouldn't be trying to pursue 50 other people as well... call me old-fashioned.
I'm sorry... but please don't message me if you have any sort of personality disorder. I can't deal with such ridiculous ups and downs. Believe me, I've tried.
Also... please don't message me if you're going to feed me some extremely cheesy line that I know you've said to at least 10 other females in the span of a few minutes.
And, lastly, don't message me if you DO play any sort of games. I believe in being 100% upfront at all times. There's never reason for games. Ever. :)

On a first date... I really like something simple. A dinner date, usually. I know it sounds cliche, but movies aren't the best first dates, simply because you really can't get to know the other person. But I'm extremely open... and am generally up for anything. :)
