Here are 25 random facts about me.

1. Excluding my house and car, I am completely debt free.

2. I love kids and absolutely adore my niece and nephew.

3. I walk a minimum of 5 miles every day (weather permitting).

4. I'm what you would call a "Late Bloomer." I don't have a lot of dating experience. But, look at it this way, not a lot of baggage or bad habits. The only kind of "Player" of "Games" that I would describe myself as, would be of the "Video" variety.

5. I take time to watch the sun set every day.

6. Grew up country, and now live in the city. I love both.

7. I have never been to a music concert. I do like live music in small venues.

8. I like to wear camouflage. NOT for hunting. I don't have guns and have never gone hunting. I love animals and would readily classify myself as a pacifist. Fighting of any kind rarely resolves conflict.

9. I wear cargo pants/shorts every day.

10. I own 4 ties. 3 of the ties have a cartoon character on them.

11. I don't own a suit or a sport coat. I do have a closet full of "Business Casual" clothes that I do wear from time to time. I love being a "Creative" employee, because I can dress just about any way that I see fit.

12. I have over 350 t-shirts with funny sayings on them.

13. I have 500 movies on DVD. There are quite a few "Chick Flicks" included in my collection. I am unashamed to say that I have and do cry watching movies. The most recent one that comes to mind is Disney's "Up." I didn't even make it through the opening montage. "The Notebook" is another one that really requires some tissues to be on hand.

14. My iPod has 5723 songs on it.

15. I can take or leave sports. I programmed the tv to skip ESPN.

16. I love Hong Kong. Spent 3 weeks there for business.

17. I have a Wii.

18. I don't drink, but I don't mind being social at bars and pubs while others do.

19. I absolutely LOATHE the holidays.

20. I love ceramics, especially raku.

21. I'm not a fan of organized religion. I have very strong morals though.

22. I believe in living within in your means.

23. My Grandpa was a barber and cut my hair super short until I was 18. That is why it is long today.

24. People that meet me often assume that I ride a motorcycle. I have a long ponytail, a fair amount of facial hair on my chin, and I have been told that I can come across as "intimidating." I don't own a bike and have no plans to in the future. I am a firm believer that they are called "DonorCycles" for a reason. You can be the most skilled rider on the planet and get creamed by someone on a damn cellphone not paying attention.

25. I'm Lactose intolerant. I LOVE Cheese but it doesn't love me anymore. I miss pizza and ice cream the most.

Who am I looking for? Anyone that just read those 25 random facts and doesn't want to run away like their hair is on fire. I am looking for someone with depth, wit, charm and moxie. Other than that I don't really have a type.

Things that cause me to raise an eyebrow:

If a number of your profile pictures show you holding an alcoholic beverage. Other than offering proof that you are over 21, it doesn't really make a good first impression for me.

People looking to date that have a status of "currently separated." Rebounding is for basketball, and I REALLY suck at basketball.

If most of your profile pictures are of you in a Halloween costume. Am I to assume that you are a sexy (insert occupation or archetype here) all the time? Is that what you intend to wear on a date? I love Halloween, but seeing a picture of you in a weird costume with a ton of makeup doesn't really tell me much about the REAL you.

Profiles with bad grammar. Knowing the difference between their, there and they're or your and you're is a major plus.

If your favorite hot spots have the Power and Light listed as an entry. More power to you, but I have zero desire to hang out at any restaurant, club or bar there. Overpriced contrived consumerism with a hint of racism/classism doesn't do anything for me.

If you think that the "Twilight" series of books or movies are the new Shakespeare or that Edward is dreamy, we may be incompatible.

If you are looking for a guy to be a foot taller than you are...Wow! I'm 5 foot 7. 5 inches...I never really considered myself to be short...until I was on here anyways.

What do women have against "Stocky?" I'm never going to be "Slender"...I used to have a 52" waist...today, I wear 38's...ideally I will eventually wear 34's...but I am still going to be a closer to a Wrestler than a Swimmer.

Multiple pictures of your pets. You have a pet and you wanted to share. I get that. But 3 or 4? In clothes? Sitting at the dinner table? I'm exaggerating, but not by much!

The last one is more of a question. What's with all the pictures that women take of themselves in the car? I don't get the connection.

I would go with the things that I love to do that also keeps it casual and offers a venue to talk. Hang out at a coffee shop/cafe. Casual dinner followed by going to a gallery or museum or multiples of both on 1st Fridays. Seasonal stuff like local county fairs during the summer or hay rides in the fall. I love Weston, Atchison, downtown Parkville, and other little day trip towns like that. I have bowled, and I own "bowling style" shirts, but I would not consider myself a bowler. But as a laugh on a first date, I think it could be fun. I ROCK at bowling on the Wii.
