I'm Ben and I'm a down to earth person looking for someone who is as genuine as they are unique. I guess I'm giving this online thing a shot because I've grown pretty tired of the bar/party scene. It just seems like a pretty superficial scene and I'd rather meet someone who is comfortable being themselves. I do like to go out occasionally with friends but have many other interests. I love music and enjoy anything that has to do with it. I love concerts and try to catch as many live shows as I can. I love all kinds of music from rock, rap, blues, jazz, folk, metal, punk, classical, and anything just about. My other interests include movies, reading, writing, football, pool, working out, running, the arts, camping, swimming, and any outdoor activity. I like to be spontaneous and like trying new things. I value my relationships more than anything and enjoy being around caring and warm people. I also just enjoy being around people that make me laugh because I like to be a dork and goof around. I am an animal person and have a dog. I'm open and honest and expect the same in return. I think I have a pretty good idea what I'm looking for in a relationship and will enjoy the time getting to know that someone. That's all I can think of without rambling...

Anything that is a good opportunity to get to talk and get to know one another. That's what I think first dates are all about. I think it should be something comfortable since first dates seem to make both feel a little anxious. I don't think what you do is the most important thing as long as you enjoy each others company.
