I'm very outgoing and optimistic, down to earth and laid-back.I love animals, the zoo, aquarium, gardening, landscaping & playing with my dogs. I'm into rock & classic rock and some alternative. I love concerts and live music as long as it's not a sardine situation. I love walking along the beach, watching a sunset or cuddling by the fire with someone special. I do like going out at times, but for the most part I tend to be a home body and prefer the one on one interactions. And with someone special it's not "what" we do that matters, it's the quality time spent together. I hate DRAMA (try to avoid drama like the plague, but this is in fact "life"). I have a good sense of humor, and if I get sarcastic & smart ass-y, that just means I like you and feel comfortable with you. I'm very independent and I like doing things for myself. I have a great deal of integrity and can be honest to a fault. I'm looking for something substantial. I'd like to meet a man and have some great chemistry and mutual attraction, is ready, willing and able to spend time getting to know one another and see if it evolves into something meaningful. I like being able to have open, honest communication. I'm a very caring, understanding and giving person. However, I'm also observant, perceptive and forthright and I won't hesitate to call BS if I think I see it. I would like to meet a man whose GENUINE, SINCERE, VIRTUOUS, laid-back & easy going. And when in a discussion or asked a question he communicates openly, honestly and is forthright. Even if it's something I don't want to hear because I won't play the vague guessing games. He has a great sense of humor, can laugh at himself, be playful at times and doesn't take himself so seriously. I like men who are outgoing, secure & confident, but not egotistical or arrogant. I like men who are caring, treat you with respect and SHOWS A TRUE & GENUINE INTEREST. His interest in you should never be questionable because it isn't expressed to you with words alone, but you see and feel it by his ACTIONS AND ATTENTIVENESS. PLEASE- NO PLAYERS, SERIAL DATERS OR MEN JUST PASSING TIME UNTIL THEY FIND THE ONE THEY REALLY WANT. IF YOU'RE NOT INTO IT- It will be very apparent in no time so PLEASE SAVE US BOTH A LOT OF GRIEF & JUST MOVE ON.
It's too bad that I feel I have to add that last part there. But I have found there are those who are self serving and just completely ignore what it is you're looking for and want. Then get upset when you question that their behavior and actions are more that of a player. So I'd really just like to avoid that whole ugly scene.

That would depend on the person I'm going out with as I would want it to be something mutually enjoyable. But, wouldn't want somewhere too loud or too many distractions so we can talk and get to know one another. Dinner & a movie? Whoever came up with the idea of going to the movies on a date should be slapped!
