About me....
I try to enjoy life and share that enjoyment with others. I'm generally an optimistic person and try to make others feel good about themselves. My friends tell me I have an excellent sense of humor. I LOVE to laugh, so anything that makes me giggle is great fun!
I enjoy being with friends/family, camping, playing softball, going to movies, concerts and the theatre, walking my dog.
I have BS in elementary education and taught for several years before switching professions. I now run a quality lab for a pharmaceutical company. A far cry from the classroom, but the past 5yrs with this company have been excellent and afforded me many opportunities to expand my knowledge base and experience. I still work with children in volunteer settings and may one day return to the classroom.
I love to travel. I recently returned from a 16 day trip to South Africa. Probably the coolest trip of my life...so far. My friends and I went on a cruise a few years back to the western Caribbean...I'm hooked on cruising! I usually spend a week in Panama City, FL every year. Places I'd like to visit someday: Australia, Hawaii, Alaska, Ireland, Maine.
I am passionate about steak and Fruit Loops(not together, of course!) Being curled up in my recliner with a good book while listening to the rain is fantastic. Other favorites: My niece's laughter, my dog's loyalty, my friends' support, God's grace.

Who I'm looking for...
....someone who is sharp and can enjoy the humorous side of life, honest and strong enough to do the right thing.
....definitely not someone who can't manage their anger, who yells, or bottles it up inside, or someone who is belittling, impatient or generally hateful to people in any situation.
....And, must be taller than me!!!!

I like to keep it simple on the first date; any activity that will allow us to talk and get to know each other.
