Thanks for stopping by! So about me...I like things to be real, substantial, deep, and fun and I believe honest people can sense when someone is sincere or not. Therefore I'll never ask you to admire some fake persona or be impressed with a carefully contrived personality. Skills, life experiences, and achievements are important and are great avenues for explorations and livening up conversations and I'm just as interested (or more so) in hearing about your life as I am in talking about mine.

My interests run the gamut from the sublime to the ridiculous and has on occasion landed me on the road less traveled. In my early college days I majored in Fine Arts and discovered the beauty of creativity and aesthetics. Later on I moved into Math and Electronics and wound up in a career programming software. Some people think that switching from a creative to a logically oriented discipline is contradictory but I don't think so. I found that both worlds are actually very similar when artistic beauty is seen in geometry and orderliness is seen in great works of Art. I think the ancient Greeks and other cultures also discovered this a long time ago.

Spiritually I have explored various philosophies, mostly Eastern, and have traveled across the country and to India to see some teachers. My spiritual outlook is very simple and entails embracing life in all of its richness and variation. Everything from eyes that see with great beauty and love, to the outpouring of physical and emotional passion, to riding roller coasters and dancing to music, to peacefully holding hands and embracing nature.

Day to day I'm a full time Dad raising two daughters in their early teens. Despite the hormonal evils nature inflicts on girls at this age, the three of us have managed to remain close. I make it a point to do things for myself and meditate and practice a Chinese Art for relaxation, energizing, and building a core strength. This way I can give much more to all of those I care for.

So what kind of person am I interested in? I don't think there is a set answer to this question as it is impossible to predict the dynamics ahead of time. Two people meeting is analogous to an artist looking for two colors that go together. By putting different colors together, surprising and unexpected harmonies can result. Besides, the real fun and excitement is in the experimentation and watching what happens. However I do know that a relationship is very much like baking a cake. Only when the best and sweetest ingredients are combined and baked in the heat in the passion does a truly delicious creation emerge. So I am mostly looking for someone who truly wants to combine our ingredients and make something spectacular together.
