I’m a kind, giving, independent, affectionate, intelligent, funny and occasionally sleep-deprived woman. Who has worked hard for what I have and am always striving for improvement and learning more. I’m articulate with a point of view, but tolerant of differing opinions. I'm interested in foreign and world affairs; prefer NPR, PBS, Discovery & History Channels to soaps and the home shopping network but I also like Lost, Law and Order (all of them), Two and A Half Men, Family Guy and old MASH reruns.

I'm independent but see the value of sharing ones passions and interests with others. I'm open, giving and very much a romantic at heart. I want nothing more than my partner to feel cherished and appreciated and feel that in return. That said, I know what I want and am not afraid to work for it.

I'm laid back with a good sense of humor and tend to take things as they come. I enjoy activities downtown as much as retreating into nature. I own hiking boots & heels and I use them both. I love to travel and have a few trips planned in the near future.

Not your typical city chick. I’m just as content to spend a day outdoors volunteering at a neighborhood clean up, biking, shopping the green city market, at a museum or catching a game as I am a night at a comedy club/jazz lounge followed by the quest for the new undiscovered greasy spoon or just a quiet evening in making dinner and curling up on the couch to watch bad movies. Open to suggestions, is it a ponytail with a pair of jeans and t-shirt kind of day or a dress and heels kind of night?

Interested in all genres of music. Originally, I was going to attend DePaul's music conservatory but made a slight detour and attended art school instead. A few of my favorites include: Alva Noto, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Common, Elvis Costello, Adele, Gary Jules, Etta James, Goldfrapp, Kronos Quartet, Miles Davis, Massive Attack (sorry, still like them), Beatles, Seu Jorge, Wyclef, Chris Botti, Abigail Washburn, DMB, Bjork, Rufus Wainwright, Oscar Peterson, Steven Reich, Pink Floyd, The Chemical Brothers, Thom York, Diana Krall, Jill Scott & Led Zeppelin.

Usually up for just about anything, if you’ve got a quick wit and the thought of an insightful conversation doesn’t send shivers to your core, maybe your someone I could call my friend, partner, lover and on occasion perhaps even my muse or caped crusader. Drop me a line.
