First dates can be so awkward. I don’t drink coffee (tea drinker), wouldn’t want to meet someone for the first time somewhere loud where I wouldn’t be able to have a normal conversation. Dinner is always nice but seems too complicated for a meet and greet. Bars are too loud, movies too quiet. Maybe a lunch meeting (weekends because I work day shift), museum/art gallery exhibit, Sunday brunch…a place where the ambiance would be conducive to carrying a conversation and exchanging ideas. Might sound a bit too cerebral but don’t suffer fools easily. Beauty is skin deep but stupid is forever.
