It’s hard to say all the things you look for in a person, because nobody is perfect and sometimes you can overlook the small things if the more important things are there that really matter. Like honesty and trust, commitment, being sincere and caring, someone who can make me laugh and bring a smile to my face just thinking of them. Romance is very important…not just the intimacy and knowing how to please each other (that’s a given)…but holding hands, wanting to be with them, a phone call during the day, an email saying hello, the sound of their voice, or the thought of them during the day, making time for each other…just being with them. I miss looking forward to the end of the day and coming home to someone who asks how my day was and offers the hugs when needed. I am a guy who has a heart and believes in romance.
I also like to go to the movies, dine out, comedy clubs, the wineries, Fast Eddies, Forest Park, outdoor festivals and many other things. Staying home and watching movies and making dinner together is great too. I really do believe that if you're with the right person anything you do can be fun. I want someone who wants to spend time together as a couple. I do understand the need for the ME time and the WE time. A fun time for me is great food, good friends, a nice evening outdoors on a deck somewhere laughing and enjoying each other’s company. Oh…..and did I mention music? Life was made for great music…..
I enjoy traveling internationally. I am lucky in that I am able to do so for both work and pleasure. In the last few years I have seen a lot of the world and I am thankful for that. There hasn't been a place I would not miss if I could never travel again. Secretly I enjoy doing nothing -just sitting somewhere such as in the Loop or other places that are alive with activity. Venice is the perfect place for people watching. Grab a cappuccino in a little piazza on the canal and spend the day watching the world go on around us.
Is there anyone looking to get off this website?

I don't consider a first meeting a date, but if we clicked and decided that we wanted to go out on a real date I would like to take a drive in the country, especially if it was in the fall and enjoy the scenery........maybe stop at a few wineries along the way as we talk and get to know each other a little better.
I love to enjoy a nice glass of wine over a open pit fire, chatting and having a few laughs or on a Sunday take the top off the car and just drive someplace nice for lunch and laughs.
