| | I am a better listener than a talker, especially when it comes to talking about myself. Am open to doing just about anything once and love the outdoors. I enjoy most music, except rap, with my favorites being country and classic rock. My favorite movies would be romantic comedies and movies with a story line based on a true story. I don't have any hobbies as such, spend a lot of time walking or working out and sometimes volunteering. Most people perceive me to be very quiet and reserved at first. That is often unintentionally deceiving. I love a good night on the town and am not opposed to hitting the after hours bars a couple of times a year! Sometimes I can be a bit too strong minded, yes that nasty word, "stubborn". I believe it is very important to be honest and true to ourselves from the get go. Plans are negotiable, values are not. In some ways I am extremely self disciplined, and in other ways I am completely impulsive and spontaneous.
What I am really looking for is the same as what many others on this web site are looking for, simply, "My Soul Mate." I believe in fate to a point but I also know we need to be in control of our own lives. All the things we set up in a profile matter to a certain degree but for me, ultimately, if the chemistry is right that's the most important thing. I know far too few couples that I can look at and say, "They really have something special, you can actually see it." It's that natural connection between two people who genuinely love and respect each other, worts and all. You can't fake that. Possibly a bit idealistic...you think so?
