Well, I decided to update my profile…again. So first and foremost, I have to tell you I am now seeing someone.
I guess I should start by mentioning I am widowed. I lost my husband of 20 years, 7 years ago. We were best friends. If that has adversely influenced the way you view me, then you’re not the man I’m looking for. Because my best friend, those years, and that life experience, have made me the woman I am today. I learned how to love (I mean truly love), I learned how to forgive, I learned how to trust, I learned that everyday is not perfect, but that doesn’t mean that next day can’t be.

I left NY in ’87, and moved to PA, near Philly. But after my husband died and my parents passed away, it was time to move back to the home and the friends that I love.

I have always had a love for animals, and especially dogs….don’t think I could live without one in my life. The one I have now is my current best friend. And soon summer will be over and he will go everywhere with me again. (He hates it when I travel.)

I travel for work (which is one of the reasons I have not taken the time to date). A lot of guys don’t want to hear that you’re not available that night…..or week. Sorry, that’s life. But somehow I think there is someone out there who doesn’t need 24/7 as long as he knows where my heart is. And the same goes for me.

As for my romantic side, I will talk about that with someone I meet and have some amount of trust in.

I will tell you that I am kind, giving, warm, non-confrontational (but I expect the same from you), very easy to get along with. I would never have expected it in my line of work, but I have more customers who have become my best friends over the years. I’m always surprised when I find a new one. Since work is where I meet people, maybe that does make sense.

So ultimately, I'm looking for someone to share the next chapter of my life, whether it be a page or two.....or the remainder of the book. I’m not in a rush, and I know you are out there.

Interests: Golf, Kayaking, horseback riding, cross country skiing, watching football games (with someone), country music, ‘60s, ‘70s. Don’t watch a lot of TV, but cuddled up with someone watching a good movie on a chilly evening is ideal.

Coffee or a glass of wine.....and then we'll see.
