I have a mountain bike, I do ride it, I love it, but I am no fanatic. I've ridden the trails around Fruita, and have enjoyed those experiences, and also found that replacement parts for bikes can get expensive; I like weights too of course, but I am no gym rat. I eat well, I don’t drink

I have a daughter who I have a block of time to spend with every other week, and so every other weekend is my time.

I won't try to come across as some kind of connoisseur or expert at much, but I do have a variety of experiences. From those I have learned to laugh at life and not take it too seriously. My background has a lot of variety, including construction, military, commercial fishing (Alaska), Corporate America, Sales, Property Management, Landscaping and maintenance, and now I work in Oilfield Services. I enjoy it the career I have now.

I like Comedy clubs, movies, Hikes, biking, bookstores, going to a cool restaurant or museum, the theater, or just grilling off of the back porch. I like going out with friends and having a laugh and a good time, and dancing a bit. But, I don't feel the need to do that on a regular basis. Often I have found things to do. One of those things could even be....mowing the lawn, or doing home improvements. I like doing that, although I wouldn't call myself a carpenter.

I love all kinds of music; from classic rock (Cream, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Old Mettallica) to Classical and some Jazz, even some folk(Gordon Lightfoot). So, heres an example of my musical taste.... once upon a time (and sadly), a band called Van Halen became what I know them now as 'Van Haggar' , and around the same time Ewoks came to Star Wars.....they both have Sucked ever since. To add insult to injury, Star Wars then went the extra mile by introducing 'Jar Jar'...What a shame. I enjoyed watching Truimph the insult comic dog ridicule the Star Wars fans. I also like listening to Michael Savage rip on both political parties. I used to love Eddie Murphy in Delerious, but that was another time. If you agree with some of these views we may get along.


I have a sarcastic and cynical sense of humor that can be in the gutter when the moment calls, and I am socially conscious enough when to use it. I can make you laugh. She should also have a cynical sense of humor. The gal in my life can dish it out as well as take it. By the way, I like a gal who doesn't worry about messing up her hair, or doesn't need to take two hours to primp up. I want to see the real you. Bossy gals who like to run the show, and like to think are 'always right'. God bless ya. Read no further, my lovelies. I can admit when I am wrong, and on some days that is often. And although emasculation has been attempted on me before by a few witchy women, it didn't work. I will tell you the truth.. .....So, in relationships I like to work it based on what each others strenghts are. I like to be positive, complimentary when its the truth, and supportive, affectionate, and loving when its time.


One of my favorite subjects: I do love to read about history....I am not a big fan of fiction, maybe some historical fiction.


As for what I'd really like to do...it is to teach history someday, get my masters in a few years....and see my daughter grow up. Travel the world...in particular Europe and the Pacific Islands....and enjoy life....It's too short. Send me a shout if you like, If, for anything, to get a giggle!
