Bahaha. Anyway, about me...
I am a pretty relaxed guy who really wants to get out and explore DC. I recently graduated with a biology degree and have incidentally wound up of the east coast (I am originally from the Midwest). Currently, I am doing a cancer genetics research fellowship and will be returning to school within a year or two hopefully to get my MD/Ph.D dual degree. Prior to moving out East and while in school, I worked as an EMT for an ambulance and emergency room for about 3 years. It was a great experience and I miss it (and the people) very very much. So many good stories... If you were wondering if I can hold a 400 pound woman in the atlas position while going 70 mph to prevent her from falling to the ground/crushing me, the answer is yes.

Beyond education, work, etc., I enjoy learning to play bass guitar, and am into various types of rock music. I know, that's what you would have guessed after looking at my picture right :) ? Speaking of interests not really fitting looks, I am a huge Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fan. While I have yet to get on it, I would like to train someday, but I'm not intending to actually fight. Then again, I have been punched in the eye by a 93 year old woman so how hard could it really be...

On a lighter note, I really enjoy movies, biking, the outdoors, conversations, comedy (stand-up, TV, movies), and trying types of food. Another thing is, I really like people with a good sense of humor (can handle a "borderline" joke) and those who are genuinely interested when you talk with them. Seriously though, if you can make me laugh I will immediately be attracted to you. The same thing can be said for intelligence. Proper grammar gets me naked. Ok, false, but it is a great quality.

I have always wanted to go on paddleboats at FDR, or show off my sweet Google Sky Map skills. To be honest, I like doing something on first dates so we are not awkwardly interrogating each other. Concerts or art shows are always a great choices as well. Ooo or wine tasting. Too many good ideas to list.
